2588813 Ontario Inc., operating as Thomas Lawn Care, makes every effort to provide great service each season. To this end, we need a little help from you. It is our desire to deliver your service as quickly, efficiently and safely as possible. The following are our guidelines to help accomplish these goals.

Pricing policy

Prices are shown in CAD. Thomas Lawn Care reserve the right to change prices of the Services.

Payment

  • We accept cheques, cash and the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard.
  • We accept e-transfers if paying for season in full.
  • All Payment plans are reflective of services rendered and do not necessarily align with the service delivery time.
    1. i.e. Lawn mowing is delivered for 6 months, but payments can be spread over 1-6 months.   
  • There will be a $30 service charge for any returned cheque(s).

 

Additional requests

  • We make every attempt to accommodate our customer’s needs, however some requests may incur additional charges
  • If a lawn mowing customer requires that we bag clippings upon every visit, there will be an additional $10 charge per visit.  
  • Normally we will bag our customer’s lawns at our discretion for no additional charge.  Our goal is to keep the lawn looking as great as possible; often times this means the clippings need to be bagged up.

 

Service Timing – may change due to Covid19

  • Spring Cleanup - Will begin as soon as possible after snow has melted; usually April 15th through to the end of April.
  • Top Dressing - Begins late April into May.
  • Lawn Mowing - Begins May 1st and continues through to October 31 with weekly visits.
  • Slice Seeding – Late April to June and Late August to October
  • Lawn Care Packages - Begin late April into May with the First Fertilization, Aeration, Overseeding 
  • Fertilizations - Occur Early Spring (Late April into June),and Fall.
  • Aerations and Overseedings - Occur in Early Spring (Late April into June) and Fall.
  • Weed Control - Occurs in Spring/early Summer (2 visits) and continue until Fall(1 visits) with 3 applications.  Resprays available if we miss weeds on the first pass!
  • Fall Cleanup - Begins after half of the leaves have fallen from trees (usually Mid October). Additional visits will be made up until mid November when the final leaves have fallen.
  • Grub Treatment -  Occurs in Late Summer/ Early Fall (Aug – Early Sep)
  • Chinch bug Treatment - Occurs in Late Spring/Early summer and throughout the summer as needed.

Cancellation

  • If you change your mind about an item you must notify us as soon as possible. Your service will be ended on the last day of the current week (for lawn mowing) and immediately for all other services. Any outstanding debt will be due within 30 days of cancellation. If your account is pre-paid in full, a full refund will be issued less any services that have been rendered prior to cancellation.

 

  • Rudeness, verbal abuse and physical abuse towards staff members of Thomas Lawn Care will absolutely not be tolerated and is grounds for immediate termination of your contract without refund.

 

  • It is your right to cancel this agreement at any time within 10 days of signing without penalty.

 

  • You may cancel this agreement any time thereafter with a written notice. Please note there will be a $50 cancellation fee. Your refund will be returned to the address listed on this agreement less charges for services rendered and the $50 cancellation fee.
  • Refunds will be made in a Company check or e-transfer from 2588813 Ontario Inc. or by credit card refund to the card used to make original payment.
